Seabourn is an ultra-luxury line built around small, all-suite ships and a relaxed, sociable atmosphere. The vessels are intimate enough to slip into smaller ports, and the mood aboard leans convivial and unstuffy, with an open-bar culture and a crew that quickly learns your name.

Founded in 1986 and now owned by Carnival Corporation, Seabourn pairs a long heritage in luxury cruising with two newer expedition ships. As of 2026 the fleet numbers five: three ocean yachts, Seabourn Encore, Ovation and Quest, and two purpose-built expedition ships, Seabourn Venture and Pursuit.

Every accommodation on Seabourn is a suite, and most open onto a private veranda. The ocean ships, Encore and Ovation, carry around 600 guests, while the classic Quest is smaller and more intimate still, so no vessel ever feels crowded.

Seabourn Venture and Pursuit are a different animal: purpose-built expedition ships with ice-strengthened hulls, a fleet of Zodiacs, kayaks and even two submarines, plus expert expedition teams. They bring the same all-suite luxury to Antarctica, the Arctic and other remote coastlines.
