Luxury Expedition Line

Atlas Ocean Voyages

Small, ice-strengthened yachts that carry just 196 guests to the ends of the earth in comfort.

The line

Yacht-style expedition, quietly luxurious

Atlas Ocean Voyages is a young luxury line built around small, purpose-built expedition yachts. Each ship carries only 196 guests, which keeps the mood intimate and lets Atlas reach ports and anchorages the larger ships cannot.

The US brand launched in 2021 and is part of Mystic Invest Holding, the Portuguese group behind the ships, with its commercial base in Fort Lauderdale. Fares lean generous and mostly inclusive, folding in flights on many voyages along with wine and craft beer with meals, gratuities and, on expedition sailings, the excursions ashore.

The fleet was designed for both worlds. The same yacht that lands guests by Zodiac in Antarctica also makes an easy, relaxed platform for a summer in the Mediterranean.

In a word

Atlas built its yachts small on purpose, so a Mediterranean summer and an Antarctic winter feel like the same easy way of travel.

A bright, contemporary suite aboard an Atlas Ocean Voyages yacht

Three yachts, room for just 196

The fleet is made up of three near-identical yachts, World Navigator, World Traveller and World Voyager, each carrying 196 guests. Staterooms are contemporary and light-filled, with the great majority opening onto the sea, and the small guest count means the crew learns your name within a day.

Because the ships are compact and ice-strengthened, they slip into small harbors and remote coastlines with ease. It is a yacht at heart, sized for exploring rather than for crowds.

Guests relaxing on the open deck of an Atlas yacht

Easygoing luxury, mostly included

Atlas keeps the experience relaxed and largely inclusive. Dining runs from open-seating restaurants to casual deck fare, with wine and craft beer poured at meals, gratuities handled and cultural or expedition excursions built into many voyages.

Onboard life is unhurried, with a spa, plunge pools and open decks made for slow days at sea. There is no dress-up formality to speak of, just good food, good service and time to settle in.

An Atlas Ocean Voyages yacht anchored off a rugged coastline

From Antarctica to the Mediterranean

Atlas is best known for its polar seasons, with Zodiac landings and expedition teams in Antarctica and the Arctic. The same yachts turn to gentler waters in the warmer months, tracing the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Iceland and the coasts of the Americas.

It means one line can take you from a penguin colony one season to a Sicilian harbor the next. We help you match the right yacht, region and time of year to the trip you have in mind.

Because Atlas Ocean Voyages spends real time on the Italian coast, it is easy to add a culinary tour of Italy ashore.
